Project Profile
Lundin was awarded two Norwegian Sea license in the 2010 Norwegian Licensing Round in the Greater Luno Area, adding to its stakes in PL 544 and PL 546 in the vicinity. As of 2010, Lundin had taken operatorship PL338, containing Luno, plus PL167B, PL501, PL546, PL359, PL544, PL410, and PL409. It also held a participating stake in PL 265.
The Luno licences provided Lundin with a string of prospects to tie in to its Edvard Grieg field launched in November 2015: Rolvsnes, Apollo, Luno South, Luno II, and Luno II North. In 2015, Arctic Securities estimated that Grieg’s potential tie-ins could bank 158 million boe additional resources for the development.
