Trym is located just north of the Danish/Norwegian border. The subsea installation has two horizontal wells tied back to and controlled from the Mærsk operated Harald platform. The gas from Trym will be transported from Harald via DONG Energy\'s pipeline to the Tyra platform and onwards to Nybro in Denmark or Den Helder in the Netherlands, respectively. Oil and condensate will be transported from Harald via the Gorm field to Fredericia in Denmark via DONG Energy\'s pipeline.
The field’s commercial reserves are estimated at 4.4 billion cubic metres of gas and 1.1 million cubic metres of condensate, with peak output targeted at about 1.8 million cubic metres per day of gas and 1,000 cubic metres per day of condensate. The Trym partners have together invested Dkr2.4 billion (US$434 million), based on 2008 figures, in development of the field.
DONG E&P Norge has divested its ownership shares to Faroe Petroleum Norge. Transfer of ownership to Faroe is subject to approval by Norwegian authorities and is expected to complete during the later part of 2016. (July, 2016)
