The Huntington oil field is located on Block 22/14b in the UK sector of the North Sea in 299 feet (91 meters) of water. E.ON Ruhrgas UK E&P is the operator of the oil field, owning a 25% interest in the license. Other partners in the license include Altinex Oil Limited (20%), Premier (40%), and Carrizo Oil & Gas, Inc. (15%). Discovered in 2007, the initial development of the oil field will exploit the Forties Palaeocene reservoir. In addition to the Forties reservoir, there has also been a significant discovery in the deeper Fulmar field, which will be fully appraised before a development situation of this area is announced. Noreco\'s estimate for recoverable reserves for the first five years of production is 41 million barrels of oil equivalents, of which 90% is oil. It is estimated the field holds about 150 million barrels of oil-in-place. In 2016, the field currently produced around 15,000 boe/d with remaining reserves of 10 MMboe.
