The Magtymguly Collector Riser (MCR-A) development comprises of a normally unmanned platform that will be installed in the Caspian sea under the Turkmenistan Block 1 Gas Development Project for Petronas Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn. Bhd. A series of prefabricated components will be constructed MMHE (Malaysia) and transported to Kiyanly (Turkmenistan) Site where further assembly will be undertaken prior to installation. There are two main gas turbines to generate power requirement of the platform, which is fully designed to be operated manless.
