The Philippines aims to build a US$2 billion receiving and distribution facility for imported LNG. The project would include a 5 mtpa LNG receiving terminal to be completed by 2020. The LNG project would include a power plant with a 1,000 megawatts production capacity, however, the facility would initially be producing 200 MW.
