In March 2007 the Hachinohe LNG Satellite Terminal was completed. In 2010 the Operator, Nippon Oil decided to expand and build a new terminal in order to comply with the demand growth particularly in industrial sector and to expand the company\'s supply areas. In October 2010, JGC Corporation was appointed as EPC contractor for the project by the Operator. Construction works on the project were completed by 1Q 2015.
