The Hami LNG-methanol plant is located in Hami in western Xinjiang, China. Commercial operations first began at the plant in December 2012. The plant can produce 500 tonnes of LNG a year and 1.2 million tonnes of methanol per year. It is owned and operated by private company, Xinjiang-based Guanghui Energy.
