The BIGP Subsea Development is located offshore Indonesia. The project is made up if the Bison, Iguana and Gajah Putri prospects which are located in the Natuna Sea Block A. The Iguana-1 discovery has proven gas columns in four separate reservoir sands in the Arang formation close to Premier\'s Pelikan, Gajah Puteri, Bison and recent Naga discoveries. The Iguana well tested at a flow rate of 25 mmscf/d. High quality gas samples were obtained, similar to those in surrounding discoveries. Iguana-1 was drilled to 7550 feet from the Trident 17 jack-up rig using slim-hole technology which allowed Premier to significantly reduce drilling time and costs.

Premier, the operator of the project, is progressing FEED for the Bison and Iguana projects as single well subsea tie-backs to Pelikan while concept select for the Gajah Puteri field is underway. Together these fields could increase gross deliverable reserves to Singapore and the local market by over 100 bcf. The Over the course of 2014/2015 Premier brought on-stream the Naga and Pelikan fields. Both fields will deliver additional reserves into the Singapore and domestic market. Together the fields are capable of delivering up to 200 BBtud. Premier is the operator of the BIGP Subsea Development.

Contractors:

GE Oil & Gas: Secured a contract for subsea trees and wellheads.

Proserv: Contracted to supply is a three well subsea control system, which includes the company’s award winning Artemis 2G subsea electronics module, tied back to two platforms, Naga and Pelikan, in approx. 90m water depth. Bison and Iguana will tie back to the Pelikan platform and Gajah Puteri will tie back from a controls perspective to the Naga platform. Delivery of the first phase of equipment is scheduled for May 2018. (March, 2017)
