As the first Chinese private company authorized by the Chinese Government to build and operate LNG import terminal at Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, ENN is looking forward to establish global partnerships with market players and to forging an entire LNG business chain including natural gas development, transport, trade, import and distribution.
ENN plans to build large scale LNG tanks, unloading berths, bunkering berths, roll-vessel berths, gasification facilities and related utilities. The facility is capable of receiving 3 million tons of LNG from international market and expanding to become an LNG supply station. ENN hopes to build the project in 3 phases. Initial operational capacity will be 3 MTPA, and includes 2x 160,000 m3 LNG storage tanks, for completion by 2017.
The commissioning was initially proposed to start in 2016, but has now been delayed until late 2017 or 2018.
