CNOOC Limited has started production from its Wenchang 13-6 oil field. Wenchang 13-6 oil field, located in the west of Pearl River Mouth Basin with an average water depth of approximately 120 metres, is part of the Wenchang oil fields and shares the existing adjacent facilities for the development. The main production facilities include one wellhead platform and 12 producing wells. There are currently 5 wells producing approximately 1,300 barrels per day. Wenchang 13-6 is an independent oil field in which the Company holds 100% interest and acts as the Operator.
