The Kandra license is a 314.43 km² Exploration License, located in the Sindh province of Pakistan. In the license there have been till now, 1 discovery well, 4 appraisal wells, while Kandra-3 tested at a 7.8 MMcf/d flow rate of 140-390 Btu gas. Development and Production Lease granted and initial development plan approved. Kandra’s gas will be used for power generation after removal of CO2. Implementation of Pakistan\'s 2012 Low Btu Gas Policy pricing incentive has significantly improved the project economics. The proved reserves are estimated around 47.6 bcf (reserve numbers are gross).
