Project Profile
Value: US$3,000 million
Start-up Month: Q2
Start-up Year: 2012
Water Depth: 945m
Upstream Oil Reserves: 400
Location: Blocks I off Bioko Island, offshore Equatorial Guinea
The project will see the development of a field using an FPSO. The Aseng floater will have the capacity to handle 120,000 b/d of liquids and 170 MMcf/d of gas. The field will be producing via five production wells, two water injection and one gas injection wells.
The development of the Belinda, Felicita and Yolanda gas condensate discoveries will then follow. The gas from these discoveries and Benita\'s reinjected gas may be used as feedstock for the Bioko Island LNG expansion. The Benita reserves are put at 100-250m bbl, with production expected around 50,000 boe/d.
The Yolanda discovery, located in 896 metres of water, is also in Block I and approximately 48 kilometres east of Bioko Island and 10 kilometres south of the Benita discovery.
The Adriana prospect is located in 1575 feet of water; this target could hold potential reserves of between 50 million boe and 140 million boe.
