Brief Introduction
Mela field is located in Kohat district and Nashpa field is located in Karak district, Pakistan and are a joint venture among Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) (65%), PPL (30%), GHPL (5%), with OGDCL serving as the operator. Development of both the projects is under engineering phase for the Installation of complete processing facilities including LPG plant & compression facilities. Consultant has been engaged for designing of the facilities. Process selection study has been completed. The contract has been signed on EPCC basis with M/s Hong Kong Hui Hua design/ supply/ installation and commissioning of Gas Processing & LPG Recovery Plants, Sales Gas Compressors and Allied Facilities at Nashpa Field.The project will also involve laying 22 km of gas transportation pipeline between the Nashpa and Mela fields, leading to their effective integration.
