The Maru-Reti gas field is located in Ghotki district of Sindh province in Pakistan. The discovery of the field was made in August 2010. Four wells have been drilled while the total reserves of these fields are 59 BCF. ECC has allocated 12 MMSCFD gas to the Consortium of four fertiliser companies. Negotiations are currently underway for sale of gas to the Consortium. OGDCL will be ready to sell the gas to selected company of the Fertiliser Consortium as soon as the subject fertiliser company will be ready to pick up the gas.
