The Yetagun gas field is an offshore gas field in the Gulf of Martaban, Andaman Sea in Myanmar. Following the Yadana project, the US$700 million Yetagun (waterfall) project was the second natural gas offshore project in Myanmar. The field is located in concessions block M12, M13 and M14 and covers an area of 24,130 square kilometres. Partners in the field include Petronas Carigali Myanmar (Hong Kong) Ltd. is the operator with 40.9102%, Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) holds a 20.4541% interest, PTTEP International Limited (PTTEPI) a 19.31784% interest and Nippon Oil Exploration (Myanmar) Ltd. the remaining 19.31784. Production in the field started in April 2000. Keppel is the EPC contractor fort he conversion of Yetagun FSO, a Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) facility. Average Production in December 2012 was 438 MMSCFD of gas and 10,184 BPD of condensate. The estimated reserves of the field are 2.92 tcf.
