PETRONAS Gas Berhad (PGB), a subsidiary of PETRONAS is implementing the PGU Project since 1984. Feedgas from offshore Terengganu is landed at the GPPs (Gas Processing Plants) in Kertih and extracted into various components namely sales gas, ethane, propane, butane and condensate. The GPP Complex in Kertih comprises GPP 1, 2, 3 & 4 with a combined salesgas production capacity of 1,000 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd). Currently, there is a rejuvenation project taken place regarding the Gas Processing Plant No. 4 in Kerteh. The plant has a capacity of 250 million cubic feet per day and is located in Kerteh, Terengganu in eastern Malaysia.
