Shell has signed a new production sharing contract for a block offshore Sarawak, East Malaysia with Petronas. Shell has committed to an initial three-year exploration programme for Block SK 319, which covers 2,727 square kilometres in the Central Luconia basin.
The new PSC forms part of Shell’s ‘Low Cost Exploration & Development’ focus that will allow the company to carry out a multi-well exploration campaign to further explore and de-risk the mature carbonate pinnacle play in Central Luconia.

Petronas: 25% interest
