Production from CB-X Field started in June 2007. The field has achieved in proved reserves production of 6.25 BCF. Gas produced from this field has been sold to Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation. The consortium is led by Cairn Energy, having participating interest of 40%, which has encountered a very high rate of success in India and Bangladesh, making several important hydrocarbon discoveries in the last few years. ONGC, the licensee, is the other member with 50% participating interest. TPL’s current participating interest is and 10% in the developed block.
