The Offshore North West java (ONWJ) PSC was awarded in 1967. This PSC is located along the coastline of the Java Sea, North East of the Indonesian capital city of Jakarta. ONWJ covers a large area of approximately 11,000 sq. km and extends offshore approximately 75 km and includes material oil and gas production and on-going development projects with water depths ranging between 17 - 55m. The PSC has a total of 56 developed oil and gas fields and currently has three main producing clusters - Ardjuna, Arimbi and Cinta with gross production of 11.7 million barrels of oil and 63.0 Bscf of sales gas. In July 1, 2011 was 36 Mbopd of oil and 186 MMscf/d of sales gas. Pertamina owns a 53.25 percent stake in the block through PHE, which is also the block’s operator. Talisman Energy has a 5.03% interest. Energi Mega Persada, a company within the Bakrie Group, owns 36.72 percent and Risco Energy, owns 5 percent.
