Petronet LNG Limited set up Dahej LNG Terminal, South East Asia\'s first LNG Receiving and Regasification Terminal with an original nameplate capacity of 5 MMTPA at Dahej, Gujarat. The infrastructure was developed in the shortest possible time and at a benchmark cost. The capacity of the terminal has been expanded to 10 MMTPA and the same has been commissioned in June, 2009. In 2015, Petronet LNG made the first step and moved forward with expansion of the terminal from 10 mtpa to 15 mtpa, expecting completion by the end of 2016. It has also initiated the process to select the EPC contractors for further expansion of the terminal from 15 mtpa to 17.5 mtpa of LNG.
