The “PACIFIC SHARAV” is an upgraded Dual Activity Samsung 12000 design dynamically-positioned Dual Gradient ready drillship of operating in moderate environments and water depths up to 3,657 metres using 18¾” BOP and 21” OD DGD marine drilling riser. The Pacific Sharav Drillship is managed by Pacific Drilling S.A., owned by Pacific Drilling Limited and became operational in 2014. The Pacific Sharav, delivered in May 2014 by Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea.
